hi i am 43 and have a BMI of 38 and all the clinics i have contacted are limit is 35 dos anyone know of any clinics that have a 38 bmi limit please as with my age dont want to be waiting for ever to start while i am lossing weight

Hi @juls79 I think I have seen people mention that Care fertility in Chester allow up to a BMI of 40. Saw it mentioned on a fb group so don't know if that is really the case.

But if it offers any help, I also started with a BMI higher than 35. I just did the 1:1 diet and lost the weight in 3 months. You can minimise the time lost by going ahead and getting yourself and your partner tested for the standard tests clinics require. This way when you are closer to or under 35 you have the right tests and everything in place. From my experience it always takes longer to get started so you may have more time to lose weight than you think. Good luck in your journey :)
