Progesterone Pessaries Cyclogest

on cycle day 12 I had two follicles which measures 12mm each. My gynecologist said I would ovulate on Saturday, however I still haven’t ovulated according to bbt and opks… he said I should start taking my progesterone pessaries on Monday. It’s now Tuesday and I’m too concerned to take them as I haven’t yet ovulated. What should I do? Wait until I have ovulated and then take them?

thanks in advance for your advice!

@TTCRainbowBubs I would listen to the experts x

Hi @CR7 , I want to listen to them but at the same time I’ve read if you haven’t ovulated and take progesterone pessaries then it can prevent ovulation occurring so I definitely don’t want that! But experts thought I was going to ovulate Saturday and it’s nearly Wednesday and I still haven’t :/ xx

Ovulation kits are hugely unreliable, even more so when taking Clomid, as if LH levels are elevated they might not register a surge. Some women never see a peak but are still ovulating. You have likely already ovulated around when your doctor said you would. I would start the cyclogest, and maybe let your doctor know you delayed starting them.

Thank you for your advice @evalooda is basal body temp also unreliable on Clomid cycles? As my bbt is very low… TIA XXxx

I'm not sure about bbt and clomid, maybe someone else will be able to help. Good luck with your clomid cycles! X
