Egg retrieval pcos

New to Mumsnet…
30 years old and going through ivf for first time. Been trying several years but not caught on due to pcos.
I had my egg retrieval for the first time so just wondering if anyone has had similar numbers to me and what the outcome was.
They collected 38 eggs and 32 have fertilised, I’m still waiting to see how many make it to blast stage.
Feeling quite bloated and pain from that but other than this I feel ok. Did anyone still end up with ohss and not have many symptoms?

That’s amazing numbers! You must be happy 😃 my embryologist told me on average 30-50% of fertilised eggs make it to blastocyst stage! Although in my experience my first cycle was 16% and second cycle 57% so really variable!

I got OHSS both cycles and most recent one had to do freeze-all unfortunately. Had quite a lot of symptoms both times. Once my withdrawal bleed arrived I felt much better!

Hey, my numbers weren't as good as yours, but I had 31 collected, 29 mature, 27 fertilised (with ICSI), 25 at day 3 and 14 frozen (12 day 5, 2 day 6). I also have PCOs.

I didn't get ohss in the slightest. I felt a about sore, but went to work the next day. It felt like a big relief having them out of me!

I’m doing a freeze cycle just because there was so many they didn’t want to risk it. I’m just hoping we can transfer next month as different nurses have given me different timescales on how soon we can try

@Hopeful3092 i had my freeze all in May, then withdrawal bleed 2 weeks later in start of June, clinic have said I can do transfer on next cycle at start of July 😁I hope you hear soon!
