Still the trigger shot?

I haven't tested out my trigger shot this time around, as tbh I'm so exhausted from all of this that I've tried my best not to obsess over testing this cycle 😅

I'm currently 9dpo and 11dp my trigger shot but I feel like line looks quite dark for it to be the trigger still... this has dried as I did it early this morning but the line was there straight away so I know it's there. I also know I just need to test again jmin a day or two to see if it darkens but I just maybe wanted some reassurance on what people think and based on your experience this many days after the trigger.

@Ellenn argh sorry I started writing out a response and then got distracted so it got wiped 🤣🙈

I've got PCOS and funnily enough have always responded well to clomid. I tried a cycle with letrozole half way through and it did naff all for me, follicles didn't mature and lining did nothing too. For me it was a bit of trial and error, first go on clomid didn't work, second time I doubled up the dosage but didn't ovulate and ever since I've stayed on that clomid dosage and always then ovulated using the trigger shot. clomid always got everything else going but it's the shot that always gave me a good ovulation result. Everyone's different though so who knows which your body might react better to I guess.

some updates from me... I rang the nurses to ask about moving straight to IVF and they couldn't til I'd had another appointment with my consultant for her to approve it. Next available appointment to just see her was 16th October... so after a bit of panicking I got in touch with her secretary who has always been super helpful. I have a phone consultation in 2.5 weeks so fingers crossed she will support me in my wishes.

@FETmum what dpo are you? you never know til the dreaded period turns up!🤞

@cbear1989 BFN for me again this morning, af due on Saturday. I had some spotting the other day thought it was the start of af but nothing. Becoming so impatient this month.

That's good you have a meeting booked in to get some answers. I have a meeting booked in with mine too on Saturday morning. I luckily have his mobile number, I bet he regrets that 😆. I don't think month 6 will work for us.

@Ellenn how are you getting on and is your transfer booked?

Good luck ladies keep us all posted xx

@cbear1989 i hope you manage to get the referral 🤞 🤞 all the processes/waiting lists just take so long don’t they 🙈

it must be frustrating that you don’t ovulate without medication so not like you can keep trying while waiting for ivf to start…

@FETmum the clinic have confirmed we can transfer on my July cycle which I think might arrive around 9th July so hopefully everything behaves itself 🤞 usually I ovulate around day 18 so think the actual transfer will be right at end of July at some point!
