Ultra Sound Results Worry

Hi all
I'm currently going through the Fertility tests before hopefully starting treatments.

I had my Ultra sound and internal examination a few weeks ago an to our surprise the consultant said she thinks I could be pregnant as she sees a round object ( don't think she said object but I can't remember the exact word she said) and to do a pregnancy test if I don't have my next period.

My period has come and gone and now I'm worried. Anyone been in the same situation?

Someone called and asked if I had my period, I have the answer and they said they will be on touch.

I'm sure it's nothing to worry. Could you call them to see what they say and explain you are worried?

@M425 Suppose i could call. The receptionist said they will be in touch though. I'm guess they will want to arrange another appointment, but of course in the mean time, my mind is doing over time and thinking something sinister is lurking in my womb.

I cant help wonder what it was that she seen.
I have been doing the worst thing possible and using Google.

Update, i had a letter from that examination (held at my local hospital) which said they believe i could have been pregnant but have now come to the conclusion i have a small cyst on my womb lining, and also signs of PCOS on my right ovaries.
Since that examination i have since had another scan at the Fertility Clinic, which they have said everything looks perfectly fine and they see none of what has been mentioned above.
How can two scans completely contradict one another . Next step is the consultation to discuss the treatment.
Are you confused ? cause i most certainly am 😫

@NovA08 I think some cysts kind of go away on their own? I think they found one when I had my ultrasound and they said because it didn't seem to be getting any blood supply (I think this is how they phrased it) it was nothing to worry about and that they would check me again next time to make sure it had gone away (I assumed this was in relation to a potential transfer).

You can maybe ask at the treatment planning meeting but if they are happy to set that up I am sure you have nothing to worry about. Doubt they would be progressing with treatment options if any of their preliminary tests did not indicate all was good? You can always ask them at your next meeting to get peace of mind :)

@Loulaki
This just shows how un educated i am.
I just had a read up and in some cases they can with 1-3 months disappear. I honestly thought they are there to stay.

I think today i just instantly jumped to the worst conclusions.
Thank you for your reply.

@NovA08 Don't worry about it, I only knew cause the nurse told me during my scan. IVF is a huge learning curve and this is partly what this board is all about! Good luck with your treatment :)
