Hey all,
I completed 3 IUIs from Nov 22 to Jan 23, unfortunately none of them worked but during the cycle, especially between day of insemination and OTD I struggled with knowing what to do and almost became too cautious and didn't do much and it really impacted my mental health / weight and how I dealt with the fails. Normally I'm fairly active with swimming and fitness classes but was advised not to do those due to risk of infection and for peace of mind that the activity didn't affect implantation if it didn't work.
I've taken some time out, got the extra weight off, got back into my classes and mental health in a much better place and now going into IVF on my next cycle I know there is more things to consider such as ovaries growing bigger etc.
Just wondered if anyone could share things thing did through the various stages of the IVF cycle that helped them unwind/cope/still live and anything they avoided and maybe why, was it on the advice of Consultant or a study you read?
I will be having a call with my clinic before I start and they are approachable so I can ask them but sometimes it helps getting the lived experiences of others.
Thanks
