Early cramping pregnancy

I’m having loads of cramps that are even waking me up in the middle of the night and I’m worried that the pessaries I’m on are stopping a potential bleed? Is this true ..

@Shm93 it could be implantation or progesterone. Sadly it mimics pregnancy symptoms. How far past transfer or ov are you? I found that the progesterone gives me some cramp like pain in the middle for about 30 mins after insertion but implantation cramps always seemed to be on the left side. Some people get loads, others none and get different test outcomes. I'd try not to symptom spot. It will comsume you.

I meant to add too that the progesterone can stop bleeding but not always. If your body produces enough then it is not always needed. I stopped my progesterone for over a week and it made no difference last transfer. It wasn't until the hcg dropped that the bleed started

So I’m currently 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant but I can’t ever remember having bad cramps like these before so I’m worried that somethings going wrong and the progesterone pessaries are covering it? It’s making me so anxious cause I feel so out of control :(

@Shm93 I would try and not worry too much. When I had a miscarriage last cycle I was bleeding and having intense pain and cramps while still on progesterone. I think it can surprise a bleed but if things are not working out you would probably know by now.

Is your HCG still going up?

I haven’t had my HCG levels read they won’t do it for me so I’ve booked an early scan for 6weeks and 4 days and hoping that will give me some peace of mind

Ahh that's good! It's so scary having these cramps isn't it! I've gone from 0 symptoms to having cramps since about 5pm and I'm soooo scared something is gonna go wrong. It just feels like a fizzing/ popping feeling tho now actual pain 🥺

Hey! So I’ve had my first scan today after having 2 embryos put back in. They said they saw the one baby measuring 6 weeks and 2 days which is right on track and I got to see the heartbeat which was the best thing ever.

she said the second ‘sac’ had a small bleeding and was likely to be absorbed. I’m just confused whether the second embryo just didn’t implant at all or has it implanted and then I’ve lost it? Any ideas
