Has anyone used this clinic and can share experiences. Gearing up for our first round and terrified. Hoping for success stories too? Xx

We are with abc wimbledon, if you are going there, they are lovely, we are just waiting for tuesday to come to see of our transfer has worked or not, so far testing negative but 🤞 they are very knowledgable, and so far our experience has been a good one 😊

We went to st paul for other half sperm retrieval, and the urology appointment. They were all very lovely 😊 wishing u all the luck 🥰

Thank you. Blood test tuesday, last tested at 8days past which was negative so kind of talked myself into thinking it hasnt worked 🙈

When are you starting treatment @Floralsandsmiles ? I’m CD1 tomorrow with ABC St Paul’s so nice to connect with people in the same boat :) so far experience has been great!

I had my scan last week and my consult is this Thursday. I want to start this cycle. Period is due on the 10th.
Just trying to work out timings of when egg retrieval and transfer date would be. I read meds are started on cd3? And then 13 days from then it's scans every 2-3 days then the egg retrieval? Then 5 days after that hopefully the transfer?
What we're you told on your consult for your plan? Really nice to "meet" someone on the same cycle and same clinic! Xxx

@Floralsandsmiles they were great at getting me in same cycle so fingers crossed! My scan was 19 days before my period was due and they squeezed me in (alongside all the other tests) which I thought was pretty good :)

meds start day 2, and scans start day 6. Egg retrieval is hard to pin down but I was told roughly cd14, with transfer 5 days later… consultation was great and will give you all the info you need, it’s all really clear.

Im super nervous about transfer - my history is i get pregnant really easily but unfortunately have recurrent miscarriage so I’m most nervous about that part! Good luck x

How many times have you gone back for scans between your scan on day 6 and egg retrieval on day 14? Trying to work put how many times I will go up as we aren't close to the clinic... I know each person is different with when they need to see you, but I'm hoping it's similar to yours! Lol
If it was cd14, egg retrieval would be Friday 23rd, with transfer being the Wednesday 28th.
Super nervous for transfer because you are worried that embro won't implant? Here for you to talk to, that tww will be a killer! What day is your egg retrieval and transfer scheduled for?do they tell you the schedule in advance? Xxx

So I had my consult! And all great news!

Results are as follows:

Amh 18.8 (my age is normally between 10 and 20)
Follicles 19

1.4 testosterone (previous gp bloods it was 3.7!!)

1.1 TSH (previous 1.7 - both normal readings).

All my vitamins she said are great and will help with egg quality and wants me to continue with them all. Especially happy about coq10, folic acid and vitamin d. So those are the main ones to take.

ICSI isn't needed as DH has above average performing sperm. Lol

I need to have a mock transfer as when I had abnormal cells removed from a smear a few years back, she said sometimes the cells can grow back and form a scab and it interrupt the embryo transfer. So the mock transfer is to check there is no issue. If I wait until the day, they won't be able to do the transfer and it will cost me more to freeze all..

They are happy for us to go ahead with this cycle, said we are both straight forward and said our chances are 40%, with her saying within 1 or 2 rounds, we will be pregnant. Worst case 3. She said she was confident on that 😊

So more bloodwork this week for us both, the mock transfer if I can fit it in, the meds to be delivered and we can start on day 2 of my period 😊😊

How many days between starting stims and egg collection? The doctor said 10 days of stims, but I don't know if this includes the trigger shot etc? I thought it was 12-14 days? (From day 2 stims to egg collect). Am I wrong? Xxx

Did anyone have success at ABC, I am also considering it as one of my options. How much does it cost for a cycle? How many days did you have to take leave from work? Thanks x

I am currently on day 3 stims and measuring a bit behind so I reckon I’ll be doing at least 10 days of stims. Will let you know when I get there!

@janett2 I've found the pricing nice and clear so far - no nasty extras! So we’ve paid £3000 total so far including sperm analysis and initial scan. I’ll let you know how I get on
