Difficult transfer and a clot the day after

So my last fresh transfer took no time at all and was all fine. This FET was entirely different!!!! I was in for over an hour as they struggled to get the catheters through such an angle after passing through my cervix to get into the uterus.

The Dr and consultant could not manage but the professor finally did but she had hold the catheter at the bend and the one with the embryo was the only one that reached my uterus.

The next day I passed a clot about 2cms and some stringy mucus. I'm certain there's no sign of infection as they were very sterile and I have no other symptoms. Anyone know what it is?

Has anyone else had a difficult transfer? Did they have a successful outcome? I already didn't feel confident about this transfer but after difficulty and the clot and no symptoms (2dp5dt) I feel like there is no hope. Silly because it's still early but nothing!

Hi Op. I didn't have a difficult transfer (although I also have a wonky cervix) but I have experienced bleeding after my transfer. A little spotting is perfectly fine, and based on the picture you shared I don't think it is anything more than a bit of spotting.

Good luck with your transfer!

@Kay00 thank you. I couldn't find much on difficult transfers sadly but I feel like it hasn't started well at all! I wasn't sure if it was bloody or if it was something from the transfer but hopefully it's just that simple. Not had anything since!

Hi OP, with my first transfer I had this and I had got pregnant with a good HCG, unfortunately the pregnancy wasn’t healthy but everything was normal up until about six weeks and the discharge was a good sign in my case.
