Side effect of IVF medication

Hi ladies

I haven’t started stimulation yet but have been on northestherine for 2 weeks, I just wondered if it’s normal to have side effects from the hormones as I feel absolutely rubbish im now slightly dreading stimulation!

I have low levels of hormones naturally so im
not sure if it’s because I’m not use to the hormones but I’ve been feeling quite anxious and just panicky, however the worst is the constant headache and nausea I have.

I just wondered if anybody else had any side effects and do they get better in time
or do you just have to get on with it.

Hi. I just finished Northestirone on Sunday, my first experience of IVF. I felt a bit nauseous, but not too bad. I took Progynova overlapping on the final week and I felt that much more strongly (period pains and big ups and downs). I'm on the June IVF thread on here, which I recommend, if you feel like joining us. A lady on there who has done this before said that they had negative reaction to the drugs in preparation month and not much affected by the stims at all. Fingers crossed it's like that for you also.

It can be variable I think. We did IVF to have our daughter and I didn't notice much effects at all from the stims. Fast forward a few years and we're in the middle of the first round to conceive our second and I'm really feeling it this time! Same drugs, same protocol but a lot more bloating, nausea and sleeping poorly.
