FET: HCG Thoughts

Hello!

I'm struggling and could us any thoughts as I navigate the crazy that is happening right now.

My FET: May 4, 2023
First blood Beta HCG on May 16: 27.5
2nd blood Beta HCG on May 18: 38.9

Went up, but not great. Nurse said not to get my hopes up, and we still need to do another blood test because it increased but was highly improbably of viable pregnancy. Still doing medications.

Blood Beta HCG Today (May 22): 125

It went up appropriately but is not at typical levels for being 5 weeks. The nurse said to be cautiously optimistic but still not likely.

Thoughts? Ectopic leaning? Anyone experience this? I'm really confused.

@LWasser what ended up happening? I had similar and it was just a miscarriage. I didn't get a scan, they just waited for it to pass. I was about 121 at 17/18dp5dt and then 2 days later it was 140 something and then 9 days later after stopping meds I bled. It was fresh though. Did you do pregnancy tests at the same time?

Hope you don’t mind me msging but if you see this @LWasser i’d be grateful to know the outcome especially if it worked out for you fingers crossed. I’m in a similar situation and have to get through the weekend to know what’s going on…
