I just wanted to pop in and say hi! I was lurking on all these threads in our TWW (which was actually an 18 day wait!! Our clinic made us wait longer than 14 days, not sure why) and I just found reading all your comments and threads and stories made me not feel so alone!
We've just had a BFN after our first IUI. No known infertility other than being a same sex couple and having no natural access to sperm lol! So we are doing IUI + donor sperm.
Obviously the chances of conceiving on first IUI are so small but you can't help getting your hopes up and thinking you'll be the special ones who succeed on the first go! Have to have another period to clear medication before they let us try again. I feel half the struggle is the slowness / waiting times. It just drags on! Also, we can't even DTD and wishfully think it might take, we just are at the mercy of the clinic.
All that to say - I feel so connected to you all already and thanks for all your posts. (And I hope I haven't said anything stupid or offensive, I'm always a bit worried to post in case I upset someone without meaning to) xx
