2 week wait ICSI

Hi ladies, I’m currently 3dp3dt. It’s my final transfer so I used both embryos on day 3 and now I’m worried I’ll be doubly disappointed if this doesn’t work. I have absolutely NO symptoms whatsoever and I know it’s only early days but I’m wondering if there is any one out there who is currently on their two week wait and we can keep each other sane? :)

Meeeee. I'm day 20 of cycle, usually 26 day cycle and Lh surge day 13 however it was 2 days later so I'm giving myself up to the 28th before classing myself as 'late' though I will start doing tests on day 22 😬 my excuse is I ordered 50 haha. Using artifical insemination method as married to a woman.

How do you feel?

@Shm93 I finished my two week wait, two weeks ago, with a positive test and great blood results this week. I am still symptom-less at 6+2.

Please please don't test early. Trust me, after three cycles and finally a positive test, it's the only way to keep yourself hopeful and stress levels down x

So sorry I’ve only just seen these. So I’ve tested from 6dp3dt and had strong positives everyday so I’m pretty confident it’s not the trigger and it’s a positive. I need to stop ordering pregnancy tests because I’ve found myself obsessing over the lines to make sure they’re darker and obsessing over HCG levels!

congrats @CR7 !! What were your blood results if you don’t mind me asking? My clinic didn’t mention a beta they just told me to call on OTD which is the 26th April!

I'm still a few days off being able to test. I was pregnant in December and got my first positive 10dpo and was obsessive with ensuring the line got darker as I had a chemical in the September. My nov/Dec pregnancy ended in mmc at 12 weeks pregnant in Feb unfortunately and last month was the first cycle I tried since, I did go a bit crazy with testing as I was certain I was pregnant (possibly just a side effect of the loss and just wanting to be pregnant again so bad) but I got bfn all the way through to having period. This month I've already been much better and vow to only do one a day (instead of the 2 to 3 daily like last month). Congrats to all 💕

@Shm93 I had three tests. Clinic wouldn't do any as I wasn't bleeding so I paid privately. Long story why I had three but anyway results were really good and I have scan next week on 6+6.

OTD was the Monday.

I tested the following-

Thursday - 3606
Saturday - 6241
Tuesday - 17268

Bandings are v tricky. Have attached below

@Shm93 I was also advised that anything below 25 is grey area and not a good sign

How are you finding the wait to test @DarkCrystal85 I’ve decided I’m going to test every other day but I’m going through an obsession with if the line is actually going to get darker

Honestly I’m sending myself and my DP insane. I’ve taken these tests from 7, 8 and 9dp3dt today and they seem to all stay the same - what do you guys think from the pic I’ve attached

and wow @CR7 congrats those blood results are amazing!!! I bet you’re over the moon with those. I think I might also pay for private blood tests

@Shm93 those sticks looks very hopeful, I'm not sure they will get much darker than that. I had to be told by my gp I can stop testing now in December, I did about 9 and continued till I was over a week late. With the chemical in September they were pretty faint and then I came on when I was due but after my 12 week loss in Feb I was told to let them know if I have another chemical so that's one of the reasons I don't want to wait till I'm late as I may miss it. I've been prescribed 5mg folics instead of the 4mg that were in the multivitamins I was taking throughout.

I am finding it hard haha I keep automatically going to the drawer to grab one... i did a cheeky one this morning but would be too early even if I was... it doesn't effect me having a negative as it wasn't till I was 2 or 3 days to being due on in December i finally got my lines so I'm fully aware. Think it's more if I don't test i spend the day regretting wasting that first pee and thinking doh I should have done a test. I'm day 21 now so not too long to wait. It just feels like this 2ww is lasting FOREVER. I have really bad back pain atm which is similar to the pain I got around 5 weeks pregnant, I have disc disease and know how bad it will get as I was bed bound through January but I got these pains last month and wasn't pregnant so trying really hard not to assume that means I must be 🤣 it's so annoying that pms and pregnancy is almost identical. Keeping fingers crossed for you everything goes smoothly 😁 again those pics look brilliant 😎 I'll see if I can find my Dec sticks pics

I can't find the ones from after this point as I moved alot of pics over to my comp recently, this one I found on messenger to my friend. I have a 26/27 day cycle. I did about 4 or 5 more of the lower sticks they didn't get much darker but gp said I had a good reading in bloods, they didn't tell me what the reading was and at 6w 2 days I had a small bleed but all was well and I had a scan which showed the heartbeat. Unfortunately 2 weeks later baby stopped growing and I found out at 12 week scan as my body just didn't get the memo I was still so poorly. Makes me more nervous when I finally do see those lines but also more in need of getting those lines and 9 months later coming home with baba, for the one I lost. You can probably stop testing or as you say test every other day now lol. You are most definitely pregnant 😊 xx

It gave me peace of mind as I haven't had any symptoms whatsoever even up until today xx

@CR7 my wife carried First and we had a boy (lost him at 16 weeks gestation) and a girl ( now 3 ,sat watching cbeebies next to me) and with the first pregnancy (the boy) she was horrifically sick, had every awful symptom under the sun, had to have anti sickness meds and was unable to work often due to how sick she was... when she was pregnant the 2nd time she was so anxious because she felt normal, no sickness, no symptoms whatsoever, it was really strange how 2 pregnancies can feel so different but our girl was big and healthy, it wasn't until she started feeling kicks she felt pregnant. I was very sick with my 3 months pregnancy and used sickness wrist bands which were amazing, I didn't want to take any meds. I'm curious as to how I will feel next time ha

I crumbled and tested and there nothing yet but I get monthly line eyes where I just tell myself there is something that isn't there haha. I know even if I am it's unlikely I'll get any squinters just yet but as above I feel I've wasted my first pee if I don't test then spend the day wondering ha. This was today's. I've refrained from editing and turning negative ha. My back is still v sore though and my boobs feels very heavy but pms mimics the early pregnancy symptoms which is just not fair 🙈

I always found those strips so useless, one minute it would have a faint line and then the next nothing at all. Why don’t you try the frers??? :)

We have some of them in the amazon basket for pay day Friday but I tend to use these cheap ones until I'm late then move onto the frer tests... I used these cheap ones when I was pregnant and they had good strong (not squinting) lines from 2 days before missed period. Then moved onto the better ones and then a clear blue digital after a week late. I've also got another brand of cheap ones but they have mixed reviews but a higher miu so I'm using them alongside these for now. Just can't wait to see those lines again whether this cycle or in 10 cycles lol poas addiction is real 🙈

Omg the poor Amazon delivery driver. He’s been every 2 days with bottles of water and frer sticks for me. It’s the best most surreal feeling isn’t it, it’s like a high

I can’t believe how long this part takes 😂 I’m so grateful for my positive but I just want to get in now for an early scan. I’m having mixed emotions on going for a 6 week scan? That would be the 6th June and I’m going away on the 20th so I’m thinking IF the worst was to happen it would give me some time to recover rather than waiting for the 7 week scan?

Aw do what your heart tells you, not wanting to look at any negatives but if it was bad news it gives you that bit of time to get your head around it before the hol unlike a 7 week scan would. But I'm sure everything is going to be fine, it is nice to get to see everything earlier. I'll be paying for many scans along with my NHS ones due to my mmc and will most probably start around 6-7 weeks. I had an emergency scan at 6w 2 days and was able to see the heartbeat at that point, definitely made me feel much more confident.

Yea just poas again and nothing there at all, still not counting myself out until af arrives... its still early days yet

I think I have a full recycle bag of pregnancy tests now ready for the bin man to see I’m going nuts.

we’ll the nhs will give me a scan on the 16th June so I’m thinking about having one the week before then, potentially the 9th??? I can’t believe how long away that still feels. The days feel like years!! I think that’s what I want is to see that there’s actually something in the sac and the heartbeat! I’ve been having the worst cramps as well on and off

when is AF due to arrive? All the jargon on here makes me laugh I called my partner DH in real life the other day!

so I’ve got sore ISH boobs, veiny boobs and bad cramps? I’m waiting for the sickness because when I was last pregnant I had really really bad sickness so it’s so weird not to have it?

Aw times do seem to feel different in this waiting game. When I was pregnant I felt like week 6 went so slowly and then when I was (going by dates) 7 weeks pregnant I had an emergency scan and they dated me at 6 weeks 2 and I was like 🤦‍♀️ come onnnn, so I literally spent 11 days in my 6th week 😅

Ooh I remember the veiny boobs, I had one massive vein went right across the nip on my left boob and it felt so blooming sore, I got it in the chemical pregnancy so wondered when it reappeared in the nov/December if that was possibly why and sure enough tested positive then ha. I keep checking if it's back.
I'm due on on 26th as usually have 26 day cycles, however I usually ovulate day 13 and this cycle was day 15 so I'm gonna say 28th. I have the cramps but get them in pms and pregnancy. When I was pregnant I literally felt like I had pms forever so I'm trying not to think on it too much. I did another test this morning and still a stark white negative.

Ha I had to research what all the jargon meant I was making things up in my head and thinking no that surely can't be right. There's a few things I still don't know haha. I do find it easier to just say the word.

I'm keeping everything crossed for you, and thankyou, I will let you know in this thread either way. I'm sure if I get any squinters I'll be posting them for 2nd opinions haha.

Well im due on today but tests still seemingly bfn, unless I edit... which doesn't count haha but I'm not out till the fat lady sings. Hope you are both doing ok
