I have lupus and scleroderma. My husband has male factor. For background, we’ve managed to get pregnant four times naturally: 3 x MMC and one is now aged 5. Recently we’ve had two failed rounds of icsi both with good (I think) fertilisation rates but no blastocysts. The clinic are treating it as a male factor issue and recommending picsi and calcium ionophore but I’m worried it could be my autoimmune diseases damaging my eggs in an invisible way. I’m wondering if anyone has used or heard of Prednisolone being used before egg collection and not just after?
