So I’ve got doctors appointment booked so waiting to hear what they say but I wondered if anyone had any stories which will provide me with a bit of hope.
Been trying to conceive for a year now :( had private fertility tests back in September and the gynaecologist said all normal but I should try lose weight.
I am 100kg healthy weight anything under 75kg (my ideal is 70kg).
Im on Quetiapine for mental health reasons and recently I’ve not ovulated! And had early periods… reading online Quetiapine can impact fertility and I wondered if anyone has come off this medication or similar and conceived?
Also been ferociously trying to lose weight, exercising a lot and counting calories and the weight is not shifting. Another side effect of Quetiapine is weight gain, so I’m hoping if I come off it I would lose weight more easily. Has anyone struggled to conceive and then lost a good amount of weight to be healthy and then conceived? This whole getting pregnant thing is getting me down now :(
