Resting heart rate dropping during tww

Hi,

anyone saw a steady decline in their resting heart rate post embryo transfer and still got a BFP or shall I consider myself doomed?

My RHR peaked at 75 4dpo, remained steady for 3 days, till 1dpt, but started dropping by one beat a day afterwards and is literally in free fall. As of today, 7dpt is down to 68.

Would love to hear any positive stories. Thank you x

Hey, not sure if you’re still around but I just wondered how this cycle ended for you with the drop in RHR? Hope you got your bfp!

Hey. Unfortunately it was a chemical pregnancy. I tested at 11dpt and got a very very faint line. Had my HCG bloods done the following day and they were so low they weren’t even bearing repeating and I was told to stop all medications. 3 days later my period started.
Sorry not to have more positive news for you. They do say RHR pregnancy variations can differ massively from persona to person and also vary due to many other factors, they also say fitness trackers aren’t reliable and you should just ditch them during pregnancy if they make you anxious.
My reality is that I had a FitBit tracking my heart rate for 4 over 5 failed pregnancies and there is a definite pattern of my RHR rising when a pregnancy establishes itself, then dropping as it starts to fail so I’ve come to know my body well and once and for all with this last chemical. It’s not the same for everyone I’m sure, but for me I’ll always see it a a sign that a pregnancy is failing, if I’m ever pregnant again!

Thanks for updating, I’m really sorry it wasn’t a better outcome for you though. Best of luck to you, I hope it works out soon x
