Hi all

I wanted to start this thread as a place to put my thoughts and hopefully support others going through the dreaded 2ww.

I had my 5day blastocyte embaby transfered today and I’m already trying to symptom spot.

anyone else going through the 2ww? Would like to create a little community here ♥️

Hi @TTCIVFMAMA how are you doing with everything? I am a little further along then you, I am 9dp5dt and thinking of testing tomorrow - this is my second FET, first one ended in a CP. Feeling pretty anxious now and trying not to symptom spot too much as it could all be the drugs - have had sore boobs, nausea, cramps but no bleeding - trying to remind myself these are all signs of the medication so not to get ahead of myself

TTCIVFMAMA · 28/04/2023 10:19

Hi! Thank you for replying. I'm only 1dp5dt so don't have any symptoms which is starting to worry me a little! Not sure how I'm going to take the rest of the 2 weeks if I'm already starting to struggle!

Ooo! You are quite a bit further than me - but all the symptoms you're listing, I've read have turned out to be positive for other people! So that's a good thing right?

Which medication are you on? X

@TTCIVFMAMA try not to worry about symptoms, it’s so hard to distinguish what is a pregnancy symptom versus meds and my fertility councillor mentioned yesterday that any real pregnancy symptoms (other than those around implantation) would come in towards the end of the 2ww. Is this your first round and what protocol are you on?

Ah I’ve managed to keep nerves somewhat in check but today has been hard knowing i’m testing tomorrow and will probably have an awful nights sleep. I’m on loads of drugs still: progesterone injections and pesssaries and oestrogen patches and tables and inhixa blood thinning injections - think my body is just sick of me jabbing it so every injection time is awful now

Aw! I’ll be thinking about you tomorrow morning! How are your symptoms ? I’m on progesterone and oestrogen too. This is just a medicated FET transfer xxx

Ah so as we bought the tests, we did test tonight as we figured we would be up ridiculously early tomorrow with anxiety if we didn’t and it was a BFP, we have our blood test on Monday at 12DPT which I’m very nervous for given we had a chemical last time. Symptoms are all there - sore boobs, back, odd cramps and mild nausea. Have you felt anything yet? Try not to panic, i was a bit upset last weekend at day 3/4 when I didn’t have implantation bleeding or any really obvious cramps but it seems it might work out.

Is this your first FET or have you had others?

TTCIVFMAMA · 29/04/2023 07:07

Congratulations!xxxxx That is such good news. You and hubby must be estastic!

I have no symptoms but I’m only 1.5dp5dt so I’m not expecting anything.

I really hope I get symptoms soon. This is my first xxx

@TTCIVFMAMA thank you, we’re just trying not to test more this weekend and see how Monday goes. When are you planning to test? I know there is lots of early testers on mumsnet and it is obviously great to see a positive when waiting is so hard but I would advise waiting for as long as you can - last time we tested on day 6 and then for a full week after we were still positive but line just didn’t get much darker and it was a chemical - was v sad to have hopes raised and then shattered when clinic did the bloods xx

AM08 · 04/05/2023 17:33

@TTCIVFMAMA how are you doing? A
Any updates? I had 2 sets of betas back from the clinic and they’ve been really good - 3200 at 14dp5dt! Still incredibly anxious until I see the heartbeat but fingers very much crossed!

TTCIVFMAMA · 04/05/2023 17:41

I tested today at 7dp5dt on a FRER and I’m not sure whether that’s too faint of a line for 7dp. Congrats on your good news, the numbers are great but I can understand the nerves to see a heartbeat. It’s never ending xxx

@TTCIVFMAMA that looks really good for 7dp5dt, this early the line is bound to be faint so I’d take that as a positive. The FRER’s scare me a bit as there is so much online about them that you can go down the rabbit hole of comparing against 1000s of images online! So exciting though!

ladyge · 08/05/2023 22:34

Congratulations!!! I’d definitely take that as a positive!!! @TTCIVFMAMA

I’m 6dp5dt and this 2WW is such a struggle. I’m thinking of testing soon because I don’t think I can wait another week!
