5CC (or CC generally) embryo experiences

We had PGT-A testing and have one euploid 4AA on ice. Also have a 5CC that wasn’t tested. I am interested to hear CC grade embryo experiences if anyone would like to share?

Previously I had a 5AC that didn’t survive the thawing process so concerned that this could be an issue once again and looking for examples where they have survived thaw and were transferred.

my clinic grade them slightly differently but I’m currently 6w3d with a 4cb (although I did have a big bleed last week so keeping my fingers crossed). I had 2 other transfers which were 5ab and 4bb which failed - this little guy is the furthest I’ve got, it’s already survived covid and a huge bleed so it’s a stubborn little embryo. The clinic wouldn’t have frozen it if it wasn’t viable, they don’t want to mess up their stats by implanting none viable embryos. I had one discarded too which they said wasn’t good enough despite it being a blast and growing.

Hi!

Just spotted this thread!

My 2.5yr old boy/girl twins were a 3CC and a 1-.- (too slow and small to be graded). I was offered a double transfer at 34 because they felt sorry that my only two eggs had a 6-12% chance only and weren’t good enough to freeze 😅

Absolutely anything can happen so don’t worry about your 5CC’s ♥️ None of us know what grade we would have been as embryos xx

I had a 2CC transferred and was so upset at the time as the clinic didn’t say. I thought there was no chance but he’s now a very busy almost 2 year old! And on the other side of that I’ve just had a 4BB transferred that didn’t work. The grading system doesn’t take into around how they’ll do when they get transferred!

@FrogsLegs37 @Greenleaves20 thanks for the positive stories! I’m getting on a bit so the odds of it working/being normal are slim, but your stories are a good reminder it can work with “poor” embryos too.
