y husband had AML followed by a stem cell transplant in 2015. we were married in 2017 and conceived a baby in late 2018 and the most beautiful little boy was born in 2019. I know we are incredibly lucky to have conceived as the odds are so slim.
we banked sperm prior to the treatment starting as it was likely the that we would need to avail of it.
further down the line, we started trying for our 2nd last April. Since nothing was happening, I started with visting my gp and all the standard tests were performed and all ok apparently. i've since started with an accupunturist specialising in fertilitly. I've had further private tests and have been diagnosed with hasshimotos. I'm also working on the diet, stress levels, my cycle etc. It really has been an eye opener.
My husband has since had another sperm test and its very poor especially motility at 6.5% so this has been a shocker as i thought it was more my factors!
i dont know if anyone has been in a remotely similar situation? we've made contact with hammersmith where sperm is banked and thinking about next steps!
