Progynova FET exhaustion

Feeling absolutely exhausted on progynova to the point where even after 9 hours of sleep I’ve woken up shattered this morning. No nausea or other side effects like I had for previous FETs so it’s strange! Did anyone else have extreme tiredness on progynova? I’ve also had fyremadel too but not started the progesterone yet.

Yes, me! I find progynova really tough, particularly for the first week when my body is getting used to it.
Currently prepping for my 3rd FET with progynova and it's slightly different each time - this time round I'm really nauseous, last time it was the all-out exhaustion for me. I hope you start to feel better on it soon!

@evalooda thanks! I had terrible nausea on my last 2 FETs but none this time. How strange! It’s brutal at times Have you had any successful cycles yet? I’ve been incredibly lucky to have a successful fresh round 4 years ago and then a successful FET 2 years ago. This is my last embryo and won’t be doing any more after this

That's wonderful that you've had two previous successes - I really hope that continues for you with this embryo!

We've not had success yet. I had implantation on my first FET but had a miscarriage at 5 weeks, then my other FET and three fresh transfers were complete fails. We've got 5 more in the freezer to try so we have to hold on to hope that one of those sticks!

Greenleaves20 · 17/04/2023 19:42

@evalooda all the best with it and it’s amazing you have those in the freezer. I’m so sorry you had a miscarriage, that must have been awful. We had 3 fresh cycles and 2 FETs for our two babies. It’s an absolutely gruelling process and feels like it’s never ending. When is you transfer this time? I had my 12 day scan today and looking good for transfer on 25th 🤞

That's so exciting! We'll be on very similar timelines - my scan is on Thursday and they'll confirm the date then, my embryos are only 3 days old so probably 25th too or 26th!

Greenleaves20 · 18/04/2023 14:25

Oh wow, well let me know how you get on!! 🤞🤞🤞🤞 for both our embryos to stick x

@evalooda how are you getting on? I’m waiting for a call about my transfer this afternoon… fully expecting the news that it hasn’t survived the thaw though as that’s happened before 😫

@Greenleaves20 Aw it's such an anxious wait for that phonecall! I really hope you hear soon that it's thawed beautifully, and best of luck for this afternoon 🤞
At my lining scan on Thursday they said my transfer would be tomorrow, but they phoned later and said they had to delay it to Friday because of staffing! Feels like such a long wait after my scan, but at least I'm on the progesterone now so it feels like it's getting closer.
How are you feeling about it all?

Greenleaves20 · 25/04/2023 19:22

@evalooda transfer has been done this aft! The embryo thawed nicely and was graded a 4BB. Now for the 2ww 😬😱

I hope the days will go quickly until Friday for you! Let me know how you get on x

Hi I'm about to start these tablets and very apprehensive any tips when it comes to work etc?

evalooda · 27/07/2023 07:28

Hi @Ep2023 , hopefully you'll be one of the many women who have no side effects at all on these! If not, the side effects are annoying or uncomfortable rather than debilitating, and they do tend to subside once your body gets used to them :)

Good luck with your treatment!

@evalooda thank you!! Fingers crossed day 1 done. I'm tired but that's just period I'd say lol
