I'm about to embark on my second round of ivf.
3x failed transfers with 4x embryos on first round and IUI and clomid both failed.
All seems to be ok apart from fact I have pcos, however, after top grade embryos failing to implant, I can't shake the feeling something else is wrong!
Please could you advise what additional tests you had that you found useful or that helped diagnose something that was the cause of the failures? ANY help/insight appreciated!

What age are you OP? It's a relevant factor for anyone offering advice.

What a journey you've had! So many variables but are you having your progesterone levels checked before transfers?

Could be worth doing PGT testing the embryos

Thank you all for taking the time to reply x

The fact I'm young makes me more concerned that multiple treatments have failed over the last 4 years, although I know everyone is different and has different obstacles

@Imisscoffee2021 - no, I don't believe they did. I just have the pessaries to take (injectables on my last transfer as the pessaries made me uncomfortable) but I don't recall them checking levels prior to transfer. These are the types of questions I will be asking at the next appointment. Thank you

@Marilala - thank you. I have seen posts of others who have gone down this route. I think due to the number of failures, it may be something we need to consider. I'm so fearful of having another round with potentially another few transfers that inevitably fail due to an underlying, undiagnosed issue. I know it's negative thinking but I've tried so hard to be positive over the years and we've tried naturally in between the multiple treatments we've had and still no success
