Amh dropped dramatically

Has anyone every experienced a severe amh drop? I've been taking most of the supplements from ISWE for 5 months now and my amh has dropped from 8.9 in October to 3.8 this week. I am very shocked and upset about this as due to start IVF this month.
Concerned that something I'm taking is having a negative affect?

Hi, sorry you are going through this. I had a similar drop last year and it was quite a shock and very worrying. My consultant said such a dramatic drop is unusual but not unheard of. He couldn’t tell me why it happened but I think it’s unlikely that it’d be the supplements you’re taking. Obviously it suggests you’re unlikely to get many eggs during your ivf cycle so hopefully the supplements will ensure that the ones you do get are good quality. And it’s good that they know before your cycle and they can increase your medication accordingly. I didn’t find out mine had dropped so much until I retested after responding really poorly to my first cycle of ivf. They upped my stimulation for my next cycle and I responded better so hopefully by knowing in advance you’ll avoid that false start. Good luck!

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. I was just completely shocked but I'm hoping to at least get some eggs and hopefully the quality is good. Fingers crossed for me pls I need all the prayers I can get xx

Hi @Bristolgal567
When I started IVF my AMH was 4.8. I was so shocked as my AFC had been fairly good for my age.

My doctor put me quite high dose stims (300mg ovaleap) and I got 17 eggs with 5 good quality blasts by the end. I'm now 12 weeks pregnant.
AMH is not everything, AFC could be a better indicator of how you'll respond so don't give up hope x
