Any one had success with IUI and Letrozole? I am doing my first cycle this month. All being well insemination should happen on Thursday.

@jx0x0 no success story (yet), but I’m doing IUI with letrozole this cycle. Fingers crossed it’ll be the lucky one!

Ohhhh good luck! Is this your first cycle? I should be doing my trigger tomorrow and insemination on Thursday. How about you? Its my first cycle so keeping hopes high but expectations low!

@jx0x0 it’s going to be my first IUI. I’m still early in my cycle, the follicle scan is booked for next Tuesday. If all goes well I should be able to get a trigger by the end of next week. Good luck on Thursday! So exciting! 😃

How are you getting on @WafflesNCream? I had my insemination on friday! But now worried because I have a really bad cold/flu so concerned it will reduce the chances of success. Has anyone had cold/flu in TWW and still had success?

@jx0x0 I’ve just finished taking letrozole, waiting for my scan. Good luck with the TWW, it’s so nerve wracking! I have my fingers crossed for you!

@jx0x0 I did, I ovulated really early this cycle (cd 12), so they cancelled IUI. We’ll try again next month. How are you getting on?

Oh I am sorry they cancelled it.
Did you manage to DTD before at least? If so I hope this month is still your lucky month!
I am in tww. Not allowed to test until 28th cos apparently trigger can give false positives!

@jx0x0 we did, I literally ran home afterwards to DTD. Poor DH didn’t know what hit him 😂 My lining is thin this cycle so I’m not holding my breath, but who knows! Good luck with the TWW. It’s a torture!

Haha! Brilliant! Glad you managed to DTD on ovulation day at least.
Been reading about how IUI is most successful if insemination is done 36 hours after the trigger! So feels like you could have a good chance! X

Update from me.
I caved and tested at 10dpiui it was bfn
I then tested 12dpiui and got a faint bfp on frer.
Just tested again today 13dpiui and got another faint positive.
Pleased with bfp but convinced its a chemical! I feel like by 13dpiui it should be a strong line. : (
If anyone else is watching this thread who has done iui I would love to know when you got your bfp and how strong the line was on frer!

@jx0x0 No, I haven’t, my doctor wants me to move on to the injectables and I need a baseline scan prior to that. I have one booked for 12/06 and then I should be starting injections the following month. How are you doing?

Hi, how did you know that you ovulated early? Was this found out at the clinic or by yourselves with home test kits?
