Ovulating after IVF

I did my first ICSI cycle last month which ended in a freeze all as I over reacted to the stims.
We have an appointment next week to hopefully do a natural cycle FET next month as I was told I needed to have a full cycle first after EC.
So I have been monitoring my cycle this month as a sort of ‘test run’, I should have ovulated yesterday / today, got a faint line Wednesday & yesterday but today no line at all.
I have been using the digital clear blue tests and the cheapy test strips and had the same result on both, but definitely no LH surge due to using the digital ones and I could see the line was very very faint.

Is this normal to not ovulate the month after doing IVF?

For context, I have got fairly low amh for my age (14.8) and they only got eggs out of just under half of my follicles so it does appear I am showing signs of diminished ovarian reserve but in all the time I was TTC I always had clear positive ovulation on the test sticks

Hoping someone has been through similar and can tell me my ovulation will come back so lll be able to do natural cycle FET 😕

I had delayed ovulation or didn't ovulate at all the cycle after my failed fresh transfer in Feb - I didn't use ovulation tests for the full month so can't say for sure, I had a couple of readings that were almost high but never identified a peak. My period came after 38 days so around 11 days late for me, and I didn't get my usual pre menstrual sore breasts etc. It's very frustrating, I can sympathise! I had to have a full cycle before starting my medicated FET cycle. I never thought I'd be so happy to get a period! I hadn't been warned that it could happen by the clinic but looking online it's fairly common - would have been nice to knoe! My AMH is also a little low for my age (think it was around 12 and I'm 31) but I'm not sure that has much to do with it - I had 12 mature out of 14 collected. If you over responded maybe the follicles weren't at the right maturity at the time of collection? Wishing you all the best of luck for your next cycle xx

Thank you so much for this ❤️
They had said I had to have a full cycle before doing a FET which I presumed would be this month (had a bleed after EC) but maybe as that would have been my ‘withdrawal bleed’ that my next period will be classed as my first full cycle after the IVF.
Sorry to hear you had a failed transfer :( I’m dreading how much heartbreak could be to come. I hope you’re doing well on your journey now and all the best for your next steps too ❤️❤️

If you came off your luteal support and had a bleed then I think this cycle counts as your first full cycle - I think the delayed ovulation is exactly why they like us to wait a full cycle, even though it feels like the longest month! I'm scheduled in for my frozen transfer in two weeks, and hopefully the odds are in my favour this time. I really hope that you're successful first time, but as someone who was so afraid of the devastation of a negative result, just know that you can get through it and keep going. Infertility is so tough but you are stronger than you know xx

It does appear I am now ovulating, so it must have just been late due to all the hormones last month!
Wishing you all the luck with your transfer ❤️
You’re right about it being a long wait, just want to get to the next steps now 😬😬
