Morning @StaceyWS88 :)
Oh you poor thing, this waiting is just awful isn’t it. I think todays looks the same as yesterdays, not darker but it’s not lighter either. If it was 2am it might be that it’s was just due to not being the full 24 hours since the last one. I’d maybe test again this morning on a wee you can hold as long as possible xx

I tested again at 6am so 4 hours later and there’s no difference. I feel like my sore boobs are going too. I hate this journey, I really don’t want to do all this again 🥺

It’s a hideous journey isn’t it 😢 it’s just so awful that so many of us have to go through it. Weirdly enough my boobs have been less sore the past couple of days too, I’m hoping this is just cause my body is getting used to being pumped full of hormones!!

I’m sure you’ll be able to find somewhere to repeat the blood test in a couple of days if you’re in any doubt. Are you private or NHS? If private then surely they’ll let you repeat it for a fee, they all love an excuse to charge more money! If not then most GP’s will do bloods or you could find your local private clinic and see if you can pay for one there xx

I’m NHS and already know they don’t repeat. I’m not sure if my GP would but I’ve just googled and Superdrug does them for £69! Will 100% book if the bloods are okay tomorrow. Thank you for suggesting that! Xx

I had no idea Superdrug did them either, who knew!! £69 sounds about standard too, I think that’s what my clinic charges. That sounds like a good option for you if needed. Keep us updated xx

I will do, I have no tests left anymore because the one I was going to do in the morning got used on my SMU! Will have to try and resist going and buying more. Day 12 was where it faded hugely last round so I am tempted but it’s probably good for me to not test and concentrate on having a good nights sleep. Thanks for your help and support everyone, it means so much. If anyone wants to connect on social media let me know! Xx

Frisbeee · 12/05/2023 07:55

@StaceyWS88 all this testing costs a fortune too doesn’t it!! Can totally understand why you’re nervous after your previous experience. Probably best not to test again now until tomorrow so try and resist buying anymore!!

Oh yes, let’s connect on social media! Do you want to PM me your details and I’ll add you?

Vallef · 12/05/2023 10:59

@BiscuitLover3678 I was told to rest at least the first 48 hours ad they were really crucial and then to try and get to normal but rest as much as possible and avoid bending and standing for to long etc. I took off both weeks following the transfer as I wanted to avoid the stress. Also in my last cycle when I was positive I tripped and whilst I didn't fall I caught my self it shook my body and I kept thinking if that maybe unstuck the baby. Il never know but I just preferred to avoid any scenarios where I could say what if again you know?

StaceyWS88 · 12/05/2023 12:37

Me again lol. Just can’t help myself. Sorry I know I’m posting loads, I’m just obsessing. This is after a hold of around 2 and a half to 3 hours. It’s giving me hope although I’ve now read they’re unreliable which is fab 😂 I’ve never done one of these before!

Omg I did the exact same and got the same result 😂 how are you feeling? I don’t know if I feel any better as I’m worried it’s a chemical! Pretty sure you’re closer to official test date to me so this is very promising!

Is your official test date normally 13 days post transfer or only 10? Mine seems really late

I’m okay, worrying that my boobs aren’t sore anymore but my lower back still is and I’ve had the odd feeling of nausea but don’t know if I’m imagining it, how about you? Mines tomorrow morning! When’s yours?

Brilliant! Not until Tuesday. 13 days post transfer. When was your transfer again? Not long at all for you.

@Frisbeee are you still testing?

OP posts:
Vallef · 12/05/2023 16:56

@StaceyWS88 it really doesn't make a difference ir your boobs hurt or not as the hormones we are taking does that symptoms anyway. Also my boobs never hurt so please try and relax it's a few more hours. You need to find something that helps you relax otherwise you will be bouncing off the walls for 9 months :)

Vallef · 12/05/2023 16:57

@BiscuitLover3678 my UK cycles I tested both times on day 14. In Greece for both other cycles I tested on day 9 but as your nearly there try not to think about it!!

I wonder why it’s so different! I’m on day 9 now so it sort of feels better. How are you anyway @Vallef ?

@Frisbeee are you still testing?

I’m waiting to test tomorrow morning and going out of my mind!! We’re out with friends tomorrow so if I get a negative or a faded test in the morning then I’ll definitely need a drink!!

How are you feeling? Are your tests still looking good?

You’re so close to official day now! Hopefully going out with friends will be a welcome distraction.

@StaceyWS88 good luck for your bloods tomorrow!!

Myrtle82 · 13/05/2023 04:23

Hi there,
I am day 13 p5dt, I tested for the first time just now and it's positive with a FR!
However this is my third positive out of 4 rounds of Icsi this year but they don't seem to last, the next 5 days will tell a lot. I'm so hoping!!
I used to test way earlier but promised myself I'd wait this time around and so happy to see two lines. I wasn't hopeful as have had no symptoms.
I am taking prednisone, aspirin to boost my odds this time as have some mild autoimmune issues.
I'm excited.

Sorry I dropped off this thread - it took us longer to start than expected so we're only starting this week. Thinking of you all and hoping for good outcomes.

CR7 · 13/05/2023 08:23

Hi @Myrtle82 ! You’re about five days behind me. I had a positive on Monday on my third round. I’m also on pred and aspirin amongst other things. Try to be calm. I know it’s hard xx congrats

Myrtle82 · 13/05/2023 08:51

Thanks @CR7 and congrats to you too, that's great. Def think the prednisone will help this time round...and IM progesterone injections daily.
I'm 40 and really want to start a family so time is not my friend.
Been a year trying with Icsi so I hope this works... As I'd love
I will update in a week and hopefully it's still with me 😊
