Hi I’m wanting advice I’m 39 and been trying to convince I have a nearly 5 year old, we’ve been on a waiting list for over a year now and we’ve been trying for 2 1/2 years I’m wondering if anyone has been private not through nhs, I don’t want to do ivf just want to know where we stand and if ivf is the only option then we can go from there.

Hi @littlemummy1 I had secondary infertility for 7 years. I ended up conceiving naturally which was a surprise but one of my regrets is waiting so long in the public system. Go straight to private treatment if you can afford it.

The only thing I did differently when I conceived naturally was I used pregnacare everyday from a month before conception.

@Myneighbourskia Aw thank you. I did use pregnacare but then switched to seven seas.
oh I’m gonna have a look into private prices even if it’s just some tests as when I went to my gp after having blood tests she didn’t give me any answers and said my periods are inconsistent (so this doesn’t help) so I felt abit deflated after. X
