BFP or Trigger still in system

Hi

Wondering if anyone can help me please! at my wits end....
I have recently just completed my second IVF cycle, and transferred a grade B embryo on day 5 (21/03/2023). I am now 7dp5dt.

I tested yesterday evening and its coming up as positive (after i had at least 2 litres of water during the day), the test is darker this morning, pic attached, todays is the bottom. My OTD isn't until 3days away.

However I have noticed some pink spotting this morning and extremely worried now that this positive is still the trigger in my system (I had taken Ovitrelle on the 14/03/2023, 14 days ago).

Has anyone got a BFP that unfortunately turned to BFN due to the trigger still being in system?

I only tested as I had a round of Menopur injections a year & a half ago and used the same trigger and was told by the doctor not to test until 14 days after, so I thought this would be out of my system by now to test, going by what the doctor had said back then.

Any thoughts?

Hey op that must be a positive as it wouldn’t get darker if the trigger. Congratulations and hope you have a happy pregnancy

If the bottom one is darker then it is not trigger, I’d take that as a good positive. I took a trigger (ovitrelle) for my FET also and tested out the trigger, it took 9 days or until 2dp5dt. Triggers get lighter not darker!

Are you on progesterone suppositories? Very common to have some spotting with them. Congrats though! Another darker line is great

I agree. From everything I've seen online by around 8-9 days post trigger it should be out of your system. We were told not to test until 14 days post trigger for that reason. I'd say with the dates you triggered and the line getting darker that it's definitely looking good for you ✨🤞🏼
