Hi All,

So 35 f with 1 ds who is 2 years old. Conceived naturally after almost 2 years.

TTC for the last 18m or so, have tried medicated tsi, letrozole first no response, gonal f 62.5 one follicle day 14 (16 mm). Next cycle didn't respond dose upped to 87.5 follicle day 22 (16mm).

I just received My ivf protocol and I'm really disheartened, I do have pcos but I'm a poor responder. So they have me on 100 gonal f. Is there any chance I'll get enough eggs to justify ivf?

All about quality over quantity. I have unexplained with high amh and AFC and i didn't respond to the drugs but the clinic (nhs) didn't want to up it due to risk of ohss. Ended up with 5 eggs and 2 top grade embryos. We would have had 3 but 1 didn't freeze well. They were impressed with the quality. However I've also had a miscarriage with 1 of them so who knows! I would wait and see what you have at baseline then at your second scan then push for more drugs if you think you need. You get some with 20 off eggs but still little number of embryos because they are immature or poor quality

I've decided to go with a clinic in my own country as when going abroad there are a lot of fixed costs such as flights and hotel so didn't want to pay those out and it be cancelled and then I'd be there for 10 days. So going more local means we'll only pay the price up to where we get to.
