AMH and base line scan follicles?

Hi everyone, I did a baseline ultrasound scan yesterday and found I have 14 follicles (6+8). I am 43 and AMH is 29.4 pmol. while being grateful to still have follicles but I felt the number is low comparing to my AMH. Given my age, I am not sure if this is normal. As my egg quality will be low at my age, that's why every egg counts in my mind.
Anyone else has similar AMH, how many follicles have you got.

I’m 33, 14.7 AMH (so low for my age) I had 5/6 follicles on baseline scan, which went up to 15 follicles with stims and 7 of those had eggs in coke collection day.
So I would say 14 at baseline scan is a very good number as that is sure to increase with stims.

I was 26 amh I think or maybe 29 and I had 44 follicles at baseline however they were so concerned about ohss that I only ended up with 6 follicles stimulated for egg collection of which we got 5 eggs.

I wouldn't worry too much. There are so many bumps in the road and it is not easy but amh and AFC don't really matter really. Speaking from personal experience. I've seen someone with really low amh get good follicles. All depends on the drugs you're given to stimulate and how you react to them

My amh was super low but I ended up with 13 eggs collected through duo stim and three came back from genetic testing as chromosomally perfect so don't be put off. Mine was about 2.1 at age 41. So really low!

@CR7 - thank you so much for the reply. May I ask where did you have your treatment? Also how many follicles did you see before collecting 13 eggs.

I did duo stim at create which is basically back to back egg collections. I can't remember exactly how many follicles I had but the whole point of duo stim is to encourage the little follicles that aren't quite big enough to grow for the second cycle.

I would say having done three egg collections not to get too fixated on follicle numbers as the most follicles I had actually recovered the least amount of eggs. My first cycle has 13 follicles and only one egg and I had a cycle with five follicles and got five eggs x

@aCupOfTeaSunday 13 eggs was across my duo stim of two cycles and three eggs came back perfect after pgta which I am a huge fan of if you can afford to add it on to your treatment x
