This will be my 6th month on Clomid but second on 100mg. It's been successful in making me ovulate (pcos) but still no bfp unfortunately!

Please could you share your experiences with Clomid (good/bad)?

Anyone please?

Mine isn't so good, I was on clomid for a total of 12 cycles, I ovulated well but unfortunately no bfp for me x

It's frustrating isn't it?!
I've had various fertility treatments and am trying clomid again. I'm trying to be hopeful but it's difficult when I've been waiting for a bfp for so many years! X

@Clo100 Hey, are you still on Clomid? How are you getting on?
I have just finished my first cycle of Clomid 50mg, currently CD11. My follicle scan on CD9 showed no follicle growth at all (I have loads of follicles due to PCOS) so I’m not feeling massively hopeful but I know CD9 is early. I’m back for another scan on CD13…

thank you. Did you ever ovulate on Clomid? I’m still not convinced I will this cycle as there were no signs on CD9! x

Hi I just wanted to share my experience with clomid. I was successful on my first round in August but had a MC. My second I took in December and I don’t even think I ovulated. I decided to have a break in January but my body ovulated by itself on cd20 and was successful and now 20 weeks. I have read that it can kind of kick start you into ovulating I wish all of you the best of luck x

Clomid didn’t work for me but it worked for my Mum to conceive me. IVF was our solution though and wasn’t as gruelling as I thought it’d be

I took 6 rounds of clomid and it didn't help me.
I did respond well as apparently it helped me to ovulate (I mean I'm not convinced) but as I said it didn't result in a pregnancy.
I was told I could only do 6 cycles so after they finished I was recommended to go for IVF.

Hi Rebecca here I have only had 1 cycle 50mg of Clomid and it didn’t work had 21 day bloods, she told me I was to start 100mg on day 2-6 of my period, I am due to come on today but I am not always regular anyway just really hoping it works this time, feeling like I’ve hit a brick wall xx

Just about finished our 5th round letrozole double the dose confirms I do ovulate.

We had a failed ivf fresh cycle at Christmas so moving onto letrozole see if it works due to pcos.

Don't feel positive at all. Baby dust!

Wishing you the best of luck! I have a scan on Friday to double check everything is ok before I can start treatment again. I think I will be put on letrozole as I reacted pretty badly to 50mg Clomid (no follicle growth but horrendous bloating).

@Harper02 hey , nice to see you around again. I've been wondering lately how everyone from the old thread have been getting on.

@Clo100 I've done 2 months. Both on 50mg. First , ovulated day 20 , BFN
second cycle.. Well not sure ..may or may not have ovulated on day 30. Clinic couldn't confirm if it was a follicle or cyst they saw on ultrasound. I won't have a blood test this cycle tho. This cycle felt very different to the first and i wondered if it wasn't working this time around.

Hi still no period day 40 this is the longest I’ve ever gone. I’ve done a test today negative just wanted to do one to put my mind at ease, for the last few days I’ve been having brown discharge like I’m about to come on not much but had it for longer than normal and sorry if this is tmi like snot with blood in I’m going to call the hospital up on Monday if I haven’t come on, this is very different for me what I’m experiencing anyone have the same.
