Pain after Hycosy

Yesterday I had a Hycosy. When the doctor put the dye in I was in so much pain I felt like I was going to faint. I was also nauseous and pouring with sweat. I’ve been feeling unwell ever since and still have very mild cramps. I wondered if anyone else had this? How long before you felt back to normal? I’m wishing I hadn’t had it done now. My tubes were open but it’s caused me so much trauma. ☹️. I keep hearing some women conceive in the months after which is the only thing making me feel better.

I had my hycosy 4 days ago. At the time the hycosy was far worse than zid expected but the pain was okay afterwards. Heavy bleeding day one. Since then I've been in agony. The cramps and pain is unbearable. I've taken 2 strong pain meds and nothings touching it. Hospital said could be an infection but GP thinks its just pain afterwards.
I feel so alone. It doesn't say anywhere on hycosy information that pain can last.

I had this done in March and it wasn’t pleasant at all. I bled quite a bit and was in pain for the rest of that day. I had a full bed day and had to wear a period pad but the following day I was back to normal. My clinic prescribed my antibiotics that I took before my procedure to avoid any infection and I took inbuprofen beforehand.
unfortunately I still didn’t get pregnant after the procedure even though my tubes were open, I’m now on 4 cycles of taking letrozole
wish you the best xx

I didn’t have a hycosy but had the HSG which is similar. The actual procedure for me was ok but that evening I was in agony with cramping. It brought me to tears. Got better after a few days.
