Male fertility supplements

Has anyone been recommended specific fertility supplements by a doctor or clinic for male factor infertility? Did they help at all? I've heard of Fertilisan m, Proceed, Impryl but not sure which one would be best (and they're all pretty expensive). DH was taking Wellman Conception but had poor results on a semen analysis, so we're looking to change to something else.

Hi my husband had a good seamen sample but they reccomended proxeed anyway as a boost. he took it once a day for 3 months leading up to our cycle then twice a day the month of the cycle. They said his second sample was much better! it is expensive and he said it was disgusting but obviously did something for him.
I got ours off ebay

Good luck

Hey.
It depends what the male factor issue is.
My husband improved his motility and morphology significantly taking proxeed, pycnogenol, Vit D and ubiniquol. We then found out he had high DNA fragmentation as well and switched to Impryl, vit D and fish oil (impryl supposed to be better for DNA frag.) We didn't carry out a second frag test because they're bloody expensive but we ended up with 7 blastocysts from our first round of IVF and I'm now pregnant after our first transfer. I have read that Impryl has a similar affect on motility and morphology too and it's definitely cheaper than the proxeed so maybe go for that for 3 months and see what happens? :) It's important not to take any anti oxidants whilst taking the impryl though.
Male factor can definitely be improved. Good luck :)

My DH took Impryl and Proxeed Plus for months, but it didn't change anything. I think they're a bit hit and miss tbh and it depends how severe the issue is.

My husband had very low sperm count (less than 3 million) and was advised to take Impryl. After taking it for 6 months, on the day of egg collection it was 21 million. He hadn’t changed anything else so we put it down to Impryl - definitely worth a try :)
