Day 2 or 3 transfer success?

Hi everyone, looking for some success stories to give me a little faith during the TWW. We retrived 2 eggs and only 1 fertilised, so it was transfered on Day 2 (4 cell, little fragmentation). We are now Day 7 and the uncertiantly is killing me. Does anyone have any experience of successful day 2 or 3 transfers with a low AMH?? Looking for any hope out there!

Hey @SophieScotland54 - my second round of IVF we only got 2 eggs and only 1 fertilised normally (I have low AMH). We were due to do 3 cycles of IVF and freeze enbryos but after going through all that I couldn't handle the embryo not making it to day 5 to freeze so requested a last minute day 3 transfer. Expectations were low but that worked and I now have an almost 18 month old. Sending you all the luck! xx

Thank you for the response - unfortunately we got a BFN so are back the drawing board and starting the next cycle asap!! The low ovarian reserve, low responder game is the worst! Congrats on your BFP! x

@SophieScotland54 I'm sorry to hear that. My first round of IVF failed and I was so upset but I went straight back into it and ended up successful despite only getting 2 eggs. I understand how hard IVF is when you have a low number of follicles/eggs but hopefully all you need is that one good egg.
Worth sharing that I am currently naturally pregnant at 38 which was a complete surprise after being such a low responder to IVF. Apparently low AMH (mine is 3.5 as of Nov) doesn't affect your chances of getting pregnant naturally as if you are ovulating you are still releasing one egg each month. Good luck for your next round! xx
