I had been TTC for around a year with no success (Nov 21- Nov 22).
My periods were very irregular and then stopped all together.
I had bloods taken and found out I had raised prolactin levels, around 1700, I think the normal is between 50-700.
I have been prescribed Cabergoline which I have been on for 4 weeks now and have just had my period which is a good sign my levels are dropping Smile
Anyone in a similar situation and TTC?

Hey, I'm also in same position as you. I started cab last week so praying for some baby dust soon! How do you feel on cab?

Mostly fine to be honest. If I take it on a morning I can feel hungover, dizzy and a bit sick so I try to stick to before bed instead. How are you with it? Had your periods stopped?

I had high prolactin levels too on my bloods. They said this usually caused by high stress levels and I'm a naturally stressed out human. I've been TTC for 4 years now. They've finally put us into 'unknown infertility' bracket but said the raised prolactin levels likely mean that I'm not ovulating because the body prioritises the stress hormone over the reproductive system. It can't do both. I'm now on my first try of IUI (insemination) where I'm injecting myself with medication every night to force ovulation. I have my first scan tomorrow to see if my ovaries are responding. Good luck with your journey ✨🌻

@Megs131 my periods last about 3-4 hours so I think they were in there way to stopping.. I take the tablets before bed so I don't feel anything.. just hoping it works quick I'm not very patient and we've been TTC for years 😭 let's hope it works x

How long was you on cab for?
I'm due on in 3 days had light pink blood when I wiped maybe 5 days ago shut nothing since so I'm confused

Yeah! 😁 thank you!!
I was on it for 6 weeks! Literally just had one period and then got my bfp on cycle day 28 when my next one would of been due! Keep me updated!!

Definitely! I wasn't ovulating or having periods before the Cabergoline!
I also used ovulation tests, tracked my BBT and used pre-seed!

I'm one day late.. don't feel pregnant just don't know weather to test or not 😂

I wouldn't say I felt pregnant but I certainly felt 'different' my cramps were different and I had really achy/restless legs for 3/4 days, I was snappy and tired too!
