Aberdeen Fertility clinic

Hello all.
Happy I found this forum. My FH and I have been ttc for 3 years now without success. We went to the GP this month for blood tests which I did and then she referred us to Aberdeen. I checked with them and they said they received our referral and it needs to be vetted from a doctor, this was last week. I was wondering if anyone has a timescale of the process for Aberdeen no earlier than 2022. I've read another thread about this but was in 2021 during covid and I was wondering if anyone has a recent timeline. I'm already 35 :( with a possible low ovarian reserve so, time is not on my part and I'm pretty worried that it would be too late when we will be able to get our first transfer (if we are lucky to get there). If anyone can help me with this, would be amazing. Thanks so much

We were referred I think June 2021 just short of 1 year trying. By Aug/Sept 2021 we got the usual tests which diagnosed us with unexplained infertility. We then had to wait until Sept 2022 to reach top of the ivf waitlist. We had our first rou d of ivf in March with an unsuccessful forest transfer. We are now waiting for a miscarriage or further scans/treatment for same in weeks to come. Likely our next transfer won't be until maybe July due to cycle.

If you have a diagnosis you get ivf quicker. My friend was referred Feb 2022 and had ivf in July 2022. MFI. Another was the same. Then another had MFI and poor egg quality who were referred at same time as me but they had 3 transfers and 2 ivf rounds within a year and a bit of their referral.

I should also add that covid didn't affect this and we are roughly the same age and have been trying for 3 years prior

Hello, I was wondering how things have gone for you and if you've had ivf at Aberdeen or are still on the waiting list? Had my first appointment and diagnosed with an endometrioma and have to wait til we have been ttc 2 years before we can even be added to the ivf waiting list even though they don't think we will conceive naturally.
