Long period after ivf

Ivf failed 27th Feb but started period on 22nd Feb was on cyclegest I stopped talking it on Monday when they said I should but my period is still going on the 5th march the clinic says it normal but I don't know

wearing a pad for so long is hurting

Hi sorry to hear about your unsuccessful cycle. This has always been my experience after a failed cycle. My clinic said it was normal too, they put it down to the progesterone which makes sense. I know it’s annoying, I thought it would never end! But it did and while my next period was a bit late it was back to normal. Hope this helps to put your mind at rest. Take care.

Including spotting prior to stopping progesterone I was bleeding, in some form or other, for 14 days.
