High prolactin

Hi, my prolactin levels have been high for about 2 years now.. last bloods were showing over 2200. Had MRI to look for tumour.. consultant rang me and said nothing to worry about with results but they need to take to me in clinic 7th March.. just wondering if anyone has experienced this? If there's no tumour will I be given medication to get my levels down as we are trying to conceive and this is stopping us.. thanks

I was in a similar position to you a few years ago, high prolactin but normal mri scan. I was given medication which worked really quickly, my level came back to normal level within a couple of months. My cycles had been very long prior to the meds, but are now much better, around 30-40 days now. I am still on the medication and have regular blood tests to ensure levels are still low.
