Hi all,

Hoping to start a thread with anyone who is also in there 2WW.

I am currently 4dp5dt and due to test on 3rd March 2023. Is anyone else in the same boat, obsessed with Google and looking for any support, wanting to test every single morning and observing every symptom like a crazy lady?

My situation is very similar. My transfer was last Thursday the 16th, it was also a 4AA. My test date is the 28th of Feb.
Do you have any symptoms? I was starting to panic a bit for the first 4 days as I felt absolutely nothing but now I've got headaches and my boobs are starting to hurt a little. I know we shouldn't try to compare symptoms but I need to do something to occupy my time for the next week😄

It's so nerve wracking isn't it. Is this your first cycle?

I have intermittent mild period cramps which are normally worse in the morning & my boobs are sore to touch but now im unsure if they always were & I'm just wanting them to be sore lol.

It seems in lots of other forums I've read sore boobs can be a great sign so fingers crossed for you. Are you still on the progesterone injection and pessaries?

I'm only on cyclogest pessaries 400mg x 3 times a day. No injections but I haven't had my progesterone tested by my clinic.
This is my first frozen transfer, I had a fresh transfer a back in September but BFN.. that was my first round.

As for symptoms, the odd mild cramp, mildly sore boobs and I feel like my blood pressure is kind of high. I'm not super hopeful 😕

Im currently 4dp3dt and this was my 2nd fresh transfer. My first one back in December ended in a BFN. I have been testing out the trigger shot this time and it was finally gone this morning. I have absolutely no symptoms but I wish I did because I just feel exactly like I did on my last round.

@Piapea wow, really similar timeline then. Any changes this morning? There are plenty of people who seem to have absolutely no symptoms and BFP results so I really do think it's totally individual.
My boobs feel a bit bigger this morning but I'm worried thats menstrual as they do get bigger sometimes when I'm due on. Are you going to wait the entire time to test? Keeping everything crossed for you. Were another day down!

@Brit22 Ditto! How many days did it take for the trigger shot to get out your system last night? Did you have Gonasi?

I haven't tested out the trigger shot as we did test early last time and it just ended up in me praying every morning that the result had changed and it never did.
I promised my husband I would not test early this time as when he sees the BFP he wants to know that that is a definitely a positive pregnancy test ( I guess he is holding onto the bits of normality we can have) I am just so inpatient and don't want to wait any longer. Is your official test day 3rd March? Sending baby dust xxxxxx

@Dahlia1993 so it took 6 days to get out my system but I only took half this time round and it was ovitrelle. On my last one I had the full dose.

I’m glad that I tested the tigger this time round just so I know that if I get a positive it’s not the trigger. As I know fine well I can’t wait the full 2 weeks, as I’m far from a patient person 😂. Yeah my official test date is the 3rd. It’s feels so far away. How have you been feeling? X

I am currently so bloated - can't get my jeans on! I have intermittent period pain and sore boobs.

We hadn't tested out the trigger ( which I now wish he had) I caved and did a pregnancy test last night and got a BFP!!
I want to jump for joy but I am now so apprehensive it could still be the trigger so we said we will retest at the same time tonight and see if we get a lighter or darker line. Have you tested recently? What Clinic are you under?

@Brit22, there really is no telling until the official test day, a friend of mine didn't get a BFP until 10dp5dt & I have seen lots of forums with late results.
I know what you mean though. How are you feeling? Fingers crossed you won't need to use them - have you got blasts in freezer? Keep positive!

I've heard some good results from ABC. We are with Care Fertility.

Thank you, I said I would only test once as I am not sleeping well at all and now the addiction of daily testing has got me. My husband has had to take the tests to work as I'm obsessed! I'm blaming the progesterone hormones for making me crazy 🤣X

@Dahlia1993 well I just hope that is me.

So my first round I had 15 eggs, had a day 3 transfer and none made it to freeze.

Now this round I got 12 eggs, had a day 3 transfer and 1 made it to freeze. Did you manage to get any in the freezer?

I think that if this round doesn’t work, I’ll have a frozen transfer, then if that doesn’t work I’ll move clinics. Don’t get me wrong the staff are lovely but the communications are diabolical. Plus the clinic is a 3 hour round journey.

It is addictive testing though 😂. I wish you all the best anyway. X

@Brit22 that means it's definitely early for your tests! Loads of time left to get your positive🌈

First round we had 4 eggs, one fertilised and made it to a 5 day Blast but BFN so had none in the freezer. My numbers were terrible throughout, we nearly cancelled the cycle as I just wasn't responding to stims.

Second round ( this round) we totally changed the protocol & we got 7 eggs, 5 fertilised and 4 made to Blastocysts so currently have 3 in the freezer.

I started taking DHEA and CoQenzyme, bought all these IVF diet books, stopped drinking out of plastic and ate an avocado a day, whether that's got anything to do with the better round I don't know, it could still end in tears but I feel more positive just knowing I don't have to start from the VERY beginning again and have a chance at frozen transfers. Apparently they are much less stressful. Its great you have that option too if needed.

We are NHS funded at the moment, so we haven't had much choice in clinic. Ours is about 1.5hr away but 3 hours is Impressive! That is knackering in itself, especially for the regular scans, well done you! Keeping fingers crossed for you X

I had 45 follicles on my scans and loads of them were over the line, so I got told it’s probably looking like a freeze all, but because they only got 12 eggs they said they would do a fresh transfer again.

I do believe that my progesterone should have been checked though as on my last round my period came before my official test day. When I mentioned it to the clinic they just brushed it off really and said the 3 pessaries a day are fine.

It’s crazy what things you start and do because you believe it will help. I’ve been having acupuncture, reflexology, eating pineapple everyday as well as drinking pomegranate juice 😂. X
