Antisperm antibodies?

I've been in the infertility game a long while and just when you think you've found all your problems, along come some more. Anyone here had antisperm antibodies to deal with? I'm glad we know but there's a lot of wasted years behind us if he's had this from the start.

@thislittlebird oh gosh it sounds like you’ve been through quite a journey! But I’m glad that you have finally had a positive outcome from it!

thanks for all the info I will definitely ask our clinic about IMSI, there is nothing about it on their website so I doubt they have it. It’s weird as DHs SA have both came back 100% ASA but 0% clumping. So I think they’re just stopping them from swimming.

I’m 27 so I do feel thankful that we’ve started this process earlier on than a lot of people do. We’re also on the NHS waiting list while going private which thankfully is allowed here also. And yes I think all the NHS fertility is done in the one clinic for NI so I can imagine that’s why there’s the long wait times. It’s very frustrating that we have to spend so much when it should be funded but hopefully it will all be worth it in the end

@180monkeys yeah, sorry for the essay lmao. It’s been quite the rollercoaster and it’s difficult to believe it’s worked really.

Yeah a lot of them don’t have it. There’s another thing called PICSI too, Google them and have a read and see if any clinics do have them.

27 is good, your chances will be higher just because of your age and good embryos. Yeah probably a smart move that you started early and can use private while you wait.
