Initially posted this under conception but think it may be better placed here...!

Hello!

I did egg sharing IVF back in November 2020 and had a freeze all cycle due to OHSS. I then went ahead 6 weeks later with a FET and convinced my beautiful DD who's 17 months now.

I'm looking into having another FET this year, hopefully May/June time.

Although I've had a FET and remember the meds/transfer, I did so straight after an egg sharing round so I have no idea what tests/scans are required or what the earlier process is as it was all still "in date" from the round.

I've got my first appointment at the clinic on the 27th March and this is just a phone call.

Can anyone let me know what happens from there? What steps stand between me and starting a cycle?

Thank you!

Mine:
Birth control daily so that they could time my next cycle (I'm a bit irregular).
Day 1: withdrawal bleed starts
Day 5: daily estrogen tablets start, to build the lining
Day 10: uterine thickness scan (estrogen might be increased if it's too thin, and the FET might be delayed)
Day 15: progesterone pessaries start
Day 20: FET. This day I also start blood thinners and steroids
Day 30: pregnancy test
(estrogen, blood thinners, steroids and progesterone continue until week 12 if positive)

Oops, I forgot, one month before the FET I had a decapeptyl shot which stops ovulation.

Thank you so much for your reply! Hopefully I can get started soon enough. "Patiently" awaiting my first appointment in March but very keen for a May transfer due to some annual leave.
Definitely seems less involved that the full whack too which will be helpful with a toddler!
