IVF at Reprofit, Czech Republic, or Care, Nottingham?!

Hi, I had got my heart set on going to Reprofit in Czech Republic for our first round of treatment, but the closer it gets to us thinking about setting a date, the more i am considering Care in Nottingham!

Can anyone please help answer:
1 - what was the total cost at Care all in for IVF with ICSI?
2 - would Care make me pay again for AMH tests etc If I’ve had them done privately recently?
3 - can anyone who faced a similar decision offer any advice re what to consider and any tips/recommendations?

We have a consultation at Reprofit on 27th Feb - wondering if I should also book one with Care?

Care is really close to us, but I’ve just read lots of good reviews about Reprofit and it looks a lot cheaper even with travel costs etc and I like the idea of being away from home to help switch off from work etc. I know it would take some more organisation though!

Thanks in advance x

Hi,
I was faced with a similar dilemma when deciding between Create, CRGH and Reprofit.

I had my initial consult and a base scan with Create (£350), and then did a mini consult with CRGH and Reprofit (both free/20mins.). Our deciding factors were communication, the costs of treatment, their stats for my age group (44yo), reviews on varied forums from people who used the clinics, and their general approach to treatment (e.g. I am needlephobic hence going with a clinic that runs daily blood tests was not an option for me).

In my experience, clinics are generally happy to accept tests done by other clinics, as long as these were done recently. I asked my NHS GP to re-run some of my blood tests as my initial tests were done almost a year ago. He was happy to do this.

Best of luck with making the right decision and with having a happy outcome.

Ask both clinics about their success rates in treatment considering your issues and age, costs and time, and how many rounds they think you would need. And then compare information. Avoid comparing general info, e.g. our success rate is... You need to know success rates in your age (-/+) and your issues. Hope this helps.
