Thinking of leaving ARGC - should I??

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has left treatment at ARGC and has success elsewhere?

background - 29yr old female, good egg count and generally healthy, my Fallopian tubes were damaged when I was 19 in a bodged surgery. Partners sperm excellent.

We cycled with ARGC last year for our first IVF and I fell pregnant with our twins. We had six 5 day blastocysts. All was well until my waters broke early with one of them and I gave to them prematurely at 21 weeks. Both perfect for their gestation and genetic testing for them both came back normal. No reason found for the PPROM. No immunes initially but on one occasion my HCG only rose by about 66% in two days at around 6 weeks pregnant- then started the immunes treatment as the results came back slightly elevated.

Cycled with them again recently for a natural FET and got pregnant again, single embryo transfer this time. The embryo stopped developing around 5 weeks pregnant and currently going through a miscarriage. They’ve said the most likely cause was a genetic issue with this one embryo. Had an intralipid drip once before transfer and once during pregnancy.

While I appreciate they have got me pregnant both times, ultimately neither has resulted in a baby I’ve got to take home and raise and I’m wondering whether all the extra costs are worth it - ultimately I did get pregnant without the immunes with my sons. Additionally after I had my sons, one of the nurses said to me they’ve seen this with twins before and then they’ve had women go onto carry singleton babies straightforwardly - I do not feel they explained the increased risks of twin pregnancy to us (I was aware of some of course but not to this degree) and ultimately im paying for their expertise.

just wanting to know if anyone has left argc and had success elsewhere?? We also live in Bristol, so it is a major commute and means a lot of time off work to commit to IVF there, which im willing to do if it’s worth it but im starting to question it now after looking at their birth statistics per embryo transferred, their statistics are practically the same as some other excellent clinics who don’t do immune treatment etc.

I’d really appreciate any advice from anyone with experiences of ARGC/ other clinics.
