I'm having fertility tests at the moment and it has been suggested I could be offered Clomid. I asked the clinic how much it cost and they said the cost of the actual medication is minimal but follicle tracking costs £500 per cycle. This is just a receptionist I spoke to so I have no indication of whether I need follicle tracking based on that, also probably getting ahead of myself because I haven't actually been offered it yet. Trying to get an idea of money though! So is follicle tracking something you need every cycle that you're on Clomid or is it just the first cycle to get an idea of whether it's working? If it's £500 per cycle for 6 cycles that's close to the cost of IVF and I don't know if it'd be worth it!
