IVF at UCLH

Hi all, just seeking people’s experiences with IVF at UCLH Euston? I had my initial consultation in January and was referred for HyCoSy. However, simply trying to schedule that appointment was like pulling teeth. I know the NHS is stretched, but frankly I didn’t feel any support whatsoever - not only do emails go unanswered but phone calls proved a challenge in themselves. Now I am wary about how things will pan out from here. Has anyone been through the process with this hospital?

My GP referred me to the same hospital for IVF in August 2022 and I got my first appointment end of December. My next appointment is in mid-March so appointments are quite far apart. At my initial appointment, I was told I would be contacted by end of Jan to book a pelvic ultrasound and when I didn't hear from them, I followed up via email and telephone which was unsuccessful. Eventually, I was sent an appointment via the app. Hopefully I don't have to wait another 3 months after this appointment and I can get started on the process.

Currently going through the same issue, have to arrange a scan and I have some questions but no one answers the phone at all & no reply to any emails.

did you find a solution to this eventually?

Yes, I managed to get appointments and currently waiting to start my meds. It took me a lot of calls and emails to arrange everything. I found that writing couple emails a week to [email protected] works the best.
