Hi guys, so myself and my partner have been on and off ttc for about 3.5 years. I've had all my tests come back as normal and he had a semen analysis 2 years ago and it came back with low morphology at 1% so we put our infertility down to that even though we were told it's still possible. Never been pregnant. Never had any sort of line on a test or miscarried etc.

Hes just had another test done as we are due to start ivf in a couple months and he had been addicted to scorching baths but he stopped them a month and half roughly before this test and now his morphology has come back at 4%. Does anyone know if we now have a change of conceiving naturally or could the test from 2 years just been a one off and we're still no closer to knowing the cause of our infertility? The doctor did say to him have cooler baths and it would improve but I thought that's normally 3 months for any difference but he only cut them out for a month.

I'm so excited that his results have come back normal this time but I don't know if we're any closer to having a baby 😒 any advice or experiences would be fab. Thank you x

The sperm analysis is great on all counts. Best of luck!

Sperm results look really good!

DH had a morphology of 1% for pre testing and the day of our egg retrieval, so we had to have ICSI. I was told by the fertility clinic they look for 4% and above!! And if so, they go with conventional IVF. So you definitely have a higher chance now! 🤞🏼🤍 x

@babypleasenow they do look good but they change all the time so I probably wouldn’t assume that because of those results it’ll happen naturally if you have been trying 3.5 years so I would still go down the ivf route personally. It may mean that the results have been ok the whole time apart from the one off blip and therefore the infertility is unexplained. It’s all
so complicated isn’t it x
