Ovulation day 28 of a 33 day cycle.

Hi me again. So it appears i’m ovulating randomly on day 28 of my 33 day cycle.. I don’t always track ovulation anymore as i was getting too obsessed, don’t know what possessed me this month but anyway..

someone please make me feel better about this! i’m glad i’m ovulating at all but i’m usually so regular this is just so bizarre and although i don’t track most months anymore i can guarantee i don’t usually ovulate this late in my cycle! surely not when they are so regular! has this ever happened before to anyone on here? what could be happening? i’ve had scans showing no sign of PCOS or anything, i did have bloods done but that was june last year which was fine and i am booked in again on friday for them doing.. please make me feel better i am such an over thinker!!

Is this your first positive LH surge in your cycle? Not wanting to get your hopes up, but I have heard of OPKs being positive when you’re pregnant. But if you are, a HPT would show it too 🤍 I’ve also read others saying how they have a LH surge before their period is due. I can’t say I ever had but I’ve never tried taking an OPK late into my cycle!

It could be anything that has changed your ovulation, stress etc. but definitely keep an eye on it if it continues.

This will usually mean your cycle will be longer this month, if it’s a true LH surge.

Your post might be better moved to the conception board as some ladies may have better answers than me lol! X

Thankyou for your reply @Izzie94x ill be honest, i stopped testing months ago as it was all getting too stressful so i don’t know what possessed me to do a test but thankfully i did! i took a FRER yesterday but in the afternoon after having a wee two hours before and was negative, but like you say if it was picking it up it would do on a hpt especially a FRER! but would have be lovely ❤️ it’s got to be down to stress, i can’t just develop PCOS or something over s month surely? i hope it’s just a stressful month hahaha! we’ve dtd sunday, tuesday which was peak day and ovulation day just incase but i’m not doing it anymore lol! how do i do that? do i just put the same thing but under conception? i’m rubbish with these forums lol x
