Hi to all you IVF warriors

I am due to have Gonapeptyl on 13/2 (which I believe is the down regulation??) and then start Menopur injections a few weeks later.

I who’ve been told that they have reduced my prescription because I am ‘borderline’ but I didn’t understand the dosage measurements. The nurse said that I had originally been prescribed 6 but they have looked again at weight, age, hormones etc and decided to go for 4 (with n extra blood test to check if they need to increase again). Can anyone tell me what the 6 and 4 actually mean??!

(we are MFI, just for info. As far as we know, all my bits are behaving as they should for my age - 38)

They most likely mean ampules which have 75 in each. I can't remember the unit measurement now! But it's 4 x 75 or 6x 75. I believes 6 ampules is the highest dose they can give
