Only 3 eggs fertilised following ICSI

Hi all, I've resulted to a forum because all my friends have kids and don't understand the struggle.

I'm currently 30 and have been with my boyfriend for 10 years, we have had 7 unexplained miscarriages and have not conceived since 2017.. due to this we went to the GP and instantly got referred for IVF.

While at the initial consultation and scans my boyfriends sperm was healthy, my AMH was low and I had a lack of folicles.

I started my FSH injections January 2023 and by the end only 3 grew to preffered size and 3 followed, there were a few others but not of a good size.

I had my egg collection fairly recently and thry changed our origional IVF plan to ICSI due to the fresh speem sample... we then received a call that only 3 eggs fertilised, I am absolutely loosing my mind as we find out tomorrow if they will do a 3DT (if 1 or 2 of them are viable) or wait to 5DT if 2 or 3 of them are good.

I know I should not stress but can someone make this situation a little prettier? If there is anything I can do to better my chances if success please share! Also some positive outcomes would be great.

Anyone else start their journey in Jan 23?

I only had 4 eggs fertilise with ICSI.
When I arrived for my 2 day transfer there were only 2 embryos that had survived.
DC is currently sat doing homework.

@Capri93 last year I had only eggs retrieved in my past cycle. I also have low amh and low afc.
Both fertilised and one was transferred fresh on day and one was frozen on day 5.
I am currently 27 weeks pregnant with my little day 3.
Best of luck to you. I know its so hard when you get such a low number but as long as you can get one I think you always have a shot if the quality is there. Xxxx

They called today to say only 1 is currently 8 cell with a little bit of fragmenting the other 2 have fragmenting and is only 4 cell.

Going to transfer the 8 cell one later today and just got to keep praying.

@Capri93 that's great that you have one to transfer! My successful transfer was an 8 cell grade 2. Fingers crossed for you! Xxxx

I stupidly did a test this morning and it's a BFN.
OTD is Sunday so maybe it's just early?

I'm literally just praying at this point.

But yes officially think I've gone crazy, just a little with having done a test
