My husband has been using the same clinic, except the one time at the IVF clinic, to get his sperm tested. His sperm was low, at 3-4 million per ML. We went to a reproductive Endocrinologist (RE) in August who said we needed IVF to even have a chance at getting pregnant. He trained for a half marathon, lost weight, took all the supplements and back in October we were shocked when he got his sperm tested at the IVF clinic to freeze sperm and our RE said his count was normal at 17 million per ML. The RE prescribed my husband clomid and felt optimistic for us.
My husband went back to the same clinic last week, to see how effective clomid was since he's been on it for 3-4 months. His count came back at 19,000 per ML. We are absolutely devastated. Even his GP was shocked and felt the lab must have made an error. My husband is now getting an at-home test to see but unfortunately he cannot get tested again at the IVF Clinic until mid-February.
We are so disappointed. Does anyone have similar experiences? I am hoping this is truly faulty handling
