Hi! I have done 6 IUI’s and 9 IVF retrievals that have all been unsuccessful. When meeting with new doctors to figure out next steps, two of them said the pattern of what’s happening is prominent in endometriosis cases. I went to see a specialist and he said he’s 98% sure I have endometriosis so I’m booked in for a laparoscopy in a few weeks. Really hoping for some success stories where egg quality / embryo’s were improved after a laparoscopy. I have never been pregnant so really hoping this is the issue!! Thank you so much for any positive stories in advance!!

Mine did, enough to give me a baby. My IVF rounds before my laparoscopy had mostly unusable eggs with no fertilisation possible.

I’d recommend seeing the very best surgeon you can, someone like Peter Barton-Smith or Shaheen Khazali, if paying privately. It’s a specialised surgery and best done by someone whose practice is nearly entirely endometriosis surgery (ie not a general gynae or your fertility consultant).
